V206 Platinum Link
The V206 was designed to directly hook up the cable to a plug using screws. Since solder is not used at the contact points between the cable and the plug, the cable can be freely adjusted to the desired length. Both the cable and the NP-20 and NP-20L plugs were newly developed by Providence exclusively for use with the V206 cable. The cable is made using Providence's original VLK1 OFC and employs a newly designed "tin-plated" ultra densely braided shield along with conductive vinyl containing carbon. This structure gives it the capability of shutting out electromagnetic noise using a thinner and more elastic design than seen in conventional cables. The V206 not only accurately reproduces picking nuances but also produces a "tight" and robust sound with excellent sound projection. The registered Utility Model for the NP-20 Plug utilizes Providence's original integrated structure whereby the cable is fastened together by a pin at the back of the plug and two screws on the plug cap which allow the signal to pass cleanly through. In addition, because the cable is fastened to the plug by these two screws, this prevents the cable and plug from accidently separating, which is a common occurrence with conventional products of this type. The V206 cable is available in either 3-meter or 5-meter cable models. The NP-20 and NP-20L plugs are marketed separately.
Now it is time for you to see how clean a pedalboard can be without loosing the most important, sound!
